Water Meter Calibration
All meters have accuracy standards claimed by the manufacturers which in many cases exceed the
requirements imposed by the AWWA. All mechanical meters are covered by AWWA standards. Electronic meters
and other devices are under study and in the interim our policy is to calibrate to the manufacturers' accuracy claim.
