On-site and In-shop Test, Rebuild and Calibration
On-site service involves pre-testing the meter to determine its accuracy performance, the results
of which tell the service technician which components are problematical. The meter is repaired and
calibrated to meet the standards relevant to the size and type of unit. When the meter is apart, the internal
surfaces of the castings and other parts are cleaned of debris and build up created by the water's characteristics.
Each meter is subject to a detailed report providing as found and after service accuracy performance, parts,
serial number, location, contact information and other comments as applicable. Our work is OEM warranted.
Meters received for rebuilding in the shop are pre-tested only if specifically requested by the customer.
The unit is broken down to every individual part and subjected to a detailed inspection to identify those
components which require replacement or repair. The bronze castings are sand blasted clean of build up,
blemishes etc and painted. The meter is then assembled and flow tested for calibration. The meter is
returned looking and performing as when same left the factory, complete with a detailed, signed calibration
certificate. Here too we provide an OEM warranty on the parts and labour.
